I am a junior Assistant professor at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of Bologna university. Before that, I have been a Gliese Fellow at the Institut for Theoretische Astrophysik in Heidelberg, a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics in Munich for five years and at the Laboratoire d'Astrophysique de Marseille for one year.

I am originally from Italy and I obtained my PhD in 2015 from the University of Padova, working with Bepi Tormen.

My research focuses on the nature of dark matter and on the connection between computational astrophysics and observational data. I use numerical simulations to derive predictions and constrains on dark matter models, comparing them with observational probles, such as strong gravitational lensing.
